Fortune Finders

FAQ's

1. WHAT IS FORTUNE FINDERS?

Fortune Finders is one of the nation’s leading Lost Asset Investigation & Recovery Firms with a staff of over 200 highly skilled investigators, researchers and account executives.  We are a full service firm, which means we locate your lost assets and facilitate the filing of your claim. Over the years we have developed specialized techniques in Asset Recovery that have resulted in an unsurpassed track record of success. Our approach to Asset Recovery is 360 degrees. We utilize a proprietary Asset  Recovery Tracking System “ARTS?  that compiles and constantly analyzes genealogy, geographic and personal data.  And since you never know when new undiscovered assets may show up, we’ll keep checking all the state, federal and private databases on a monthly basis.

2. IF MY NAME IS ON THE LIST, DO I HAVE UNCLAIMED MONEY?

As a courtesy, Fortune Finders performs an instant search of nationwide databases looking for money in your name. We’ve confirmed that the name you submitted is on the list of people who are owed money, but you’ll need to use the Fortune Finders service to find out how much money it is and whether or not it really belongs to you.

3. HOW DO I GET MY MONEY?

Fortune Finders will open your case and start contacting the state and federal agencies that may be holding onto your cash. You’ll be able to confirm that you are the rightful owner of the money and find out how much money you may be owed.

4. HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE?

This depends on you. The faster you get us the information we need, the faster we can move your case along. Thorough Fortune Finding takes an incredible amount of research. Our investigators will start to build a case profile based on the information you submit to us. This information will include past addresses, names, job locations and other financial information. And, since assets can often be held under the names of relatives, they will begin to build a genealogy profile based on your family tree. As you can imagine, all of this work takes time. Generally, you can expect to see your first claim filed within a week or two. Of course, we’ll keep filing new claims as we discover new potential assets.

5. WHO SENDS ME MY MONEY?

You’ll get a check from the state or federal agency that processes your claim.

6. HOW DO THEY GET THE MONEY IN THE FIRST PLACE?

It comes from all sorts of places like forgotten bank accounts, credit card refunds, tax refunds and many times an inheritance from a long lost friend or relative.

7. DO I HAVE TO PARTICIPATE WITH YOUR AFFILIATES TO GET MY FORTUNE   FINDER’S SERVICE?

Unlike most Asset  Recovery Firms, we are not “commission based?. We do not take a large portion of your recovered assets. In fact, we don’t take a single penny. It’s your money, after all. We think you should get to keep it. Instead, we’ve developed a unique affiliate marketing network. We work on a modest fee and get our affiliates to pay the rest of your bill. All we ask in exchange is that you take a serious look at their products and services from time to time.  This doesn’t mean you have to buy anything, but we do ask that you sample some of the great products and services offered.

8. HOW MUCH MONEY CAN PEOPLE GET?

It all depends on what may be waiting out there, but Fortune Finders makes it easy to find out.

9. I DON’T HAVE INTERNET. CAN I STILL USE FORTUNE FINDERS?

Yes. In fact many of the states will require that you submit your request in writing.

10. WHAT IF I DON’T HAVE ANY MONEY WAITING FOR ME RIGHT NOW?

These government lists are constantly updated and you never know when your name might appear. Next month or next year you might be sitting with an unclaimed fortune. In the meantime, we’ll continue to look for lost assets by building out your family tree and searching for money that may be held under other family names.  All of this takes time, but we’re confident you’ll be happy with the result.

11. IF THERE’S SO MUCH MONEY OUT THERE, WHY DON’T THEY TRY TO CONTACT PEOPLE AND LET THEM KNOW?

The state and federal agencies holding these funds just don’t have the staffing or budget to track down the owners of these assets. Asset Recovery is like a treasure hunt. It requires investigators, researchers and a huge amount of infrastructure. They rely on private companies like ours to help bring the asset owners to them.

12. CAN I CANCEL IF I DON’T LIKE IT?

Yes, you can cancel your service any time.

13. AM I GUARANTEED MONEY?

We can’t guarantee you’ll end up with an unclaimed fortune, but if you’re like millions of other people, you’ve probably misplaced money somewhere over the years: perhaps a credit on a credit card, an overpayment on a tax bill or a settlement in a large class action lawsuit.

14. HOW MUCH MONEY IS REALLY OUT THERE?

We know that there are millions of people that are currently owed billions of dollars!

15. CAN I USE FORTUNE FINDERS TO FIND MONEY FOR MY RELATIVES?

Absolutely! A large part of our service and success depends on the extensive genealogy research we do. We know that unclaimed fortunes often end up under the names of close or distant family members.
